Leadership

Maya Larson | President and Co-Owner

Since joining Colleague Consulting as President in early 2021, Maya has brought her transformative leadership style to every aspect of the business. With over 25 years in human capital consulting, Maya has hands-on expertise in leadership development, training and facilitation, and organizational change management. She has developed and managed workforce and leadership development programs for federal, state, commercial, and nonprofit clients.

Before joining Colleague, Maya was a Senior Director at ICF, a management consulting firm. She served in a leadership role in their disaster management division, after spending several years leading a workforce strategy and transformation practice. Some of her most impactful projects include managing training for both the post-Hurricane Katrina home rebuilding program in Louisiana and the post-Superstorm Sandy disaster recovery program in New Jersey, and leading organizational change management efforts for enterprise-wide IT transformation initiatives.

She is a Certified Change Practitioner and a graduate of the College of William & Mary, with a certificate in training design from Georgetown University. Outside of work, Maya loves exploring the world, hiking in the woods, and capturing her adventures through photography.
